Hiperterminin yan etkileri nelerdir?
Yan etkiler tedavide ısının ne kadar arttırıldığına ve vücudun hangi bölümünün tedavi edildiğine bağlıdır. Tüm vücut ve bölgesel hipertermi bulantı, kusma veya ishale neden olabilir. Kalp, kan damarları ve diğer önemli organları ile ilgili daha ciddi sorunlar nadiren görülür. Bölgesel ve tüm vücut hipertermisi genellikle kemoterapi ve radyasyon gibi diğer kanser tedavileri ile birlikte verildiği için, görülen yan etkiler çoğunlukla bu tedavilerin yan etkileridir.
Hipertermi tedavisi günümüzde deneyim, gelişmiş teknoloji ve daha iyi beceriler ile uygulanmakta olup daha az yan etkiler görülmektedir. Çoğu durumda, insanlarda hipertermi ile olan sorunlar ciddi değildir.
